Shoulder Injuries

The shoulder has a wider and more varied range of motion than any other joint in the body. It must be mobile enough for the movements of the arms and hands, but at the same time stable enough to lift, push and pull. This flexibility makes the shoulder one of the most unstable joints of the body, and often leads to disabling injuries.

Anatomy of the Shoulder

The shoulder is one of the most sophisticated and complicated joints of the body, offering high mobility but a lack of stability. It has the greatest range of motion of any joint, allowing us to position our hands anywhere in space. Learn more about Shoulder Anatomy.
